Stray Fund Adoption Program
The North Paw Stray Fund was created in the fall of 1999 to help find forever homes for stray pets.
All animals in our stray fund receive preventative care, including vaccinations, intestinal parasite testing and treatment, and flea and heartworm prevention. Pets of breeding age are spayed or neutered.
The existence of the stray fund is dependent on financial contributions from clients and friends. We supplement these donations with organized fund raisers throughout the year. So far, our fund raising efforts have included sales of cookbooks, t-shirts, toys in addition to our annual Dog Wash and Portraits with Santa events!
Special thanks to Kim Shuffler who held a silent auction at her re-opened Decades store and donated the profits to our Stray Fund. To date, we have placed over 350 pets into wonderful new homes! with your help we hope to achieve more in the coming years.
